The UK is reportedly worried about Apple Watches being hacked.

Mobile phones have already been banned from UK cabinet meetings, and now another gadget has apparently been shown the door: the Apple Watch.

That's according to a report Monday by The Telegraph. The concern is that smartwatches and phones could be hacked by Russian spies and turned into listening devices.

"The Russians are trying to hack everything," a source told The Telegraph.

Hacking has become an increasingly serious concern for governments. Last week, the White House officially accused Russia of trying to interfere with US elections, including hacking into the computers of the Democratic National Committee and other agencies and political officials. And on Friday, the website Wikileaks posted leaked emails apparently from a Hillary Clinton aide regarding speeches Clinton allegedly gave to Wall Street firms.

Spokespeople from Apple and the UK Cabinet Office did not immediately return request for comment.
