Kittens Reenact Frightful Horror Films

Don’t be a scaredy–cat: The kittens at Houston Humane Society are feeling frightful!

Take a look as they purr-fectly reenact classic horror films just in time for Halloween. From “Paws,” to “The Purrds,” “The Blair Whiskas Project” and “Pawltergeist,” it’s tough choosing which one is the spookiest.

“We were excited and we didn’t really know what to expect,” Monica Schmidt, the Humane Society’s spokesperson, said of its partnership with ABC-owned station KTRK to shoot the spine-chilling scenes. “They built the set themselves and put the whole concept together. We just provided the kitties. They really went above and beyond to bring some light to shelter kitties.”

Viewers beware: these meow-nacing kittens are all available for adoption.
