Want the alluring aroma of a freshly-opened Apple product without forking over hundreds of dollars for an actual device?

The company Twelve South, which specializes in selling Mac accessories, offers a candle featuring the fragrance New Mac. Yes, the candle smells like an Apple MacBook just removed from its box.

The candle costs $24, a far cry from the $1,299 starting price for the latest model MacBook. According to the Twelve South website, the candle is made of soy wax, and features scent notes of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin and sage.

Guess this is one way to experience opening a new MacBook on a budget. Personally, I'm holding out for the candle that smells like fried chicken.
